    Dear Sir/ Madame

This letter is a request for the description of the procedures used to determine the accuracy ane completeness of the disputed items. Please include any business name, address, and telephone number of any furnisher of information contacted with this reinvestigation.

Well TU has sent this letter back to me and someone hand wrote "Be Specific" on my original letter. And sent along this form that says-

    Dear consumer,

We are in receipt of your letter requesting an investigation/copy of your trans union credit file. Unfortunately, further information is required to comply with your request. Please complete the following. ( and it has the information questions for me to fill out, such as name, ss# ect)

WTF? Just how specific do I need to be? I thought that I was as clear as a bell in my original letter as to what I wanted from them. How should I proceed now?? Do I have them where I want them?

    Thanks Guys!

    Matt

This often happens when you dispute information on a credit report. If your dispute did not contain the file # for the report you are referencing, your complete name (as it appears on the credit report), your social security number, your current address (as it appears on the report) and some other proof of identity (driver's license, utility bill, etc.), they can and will often reject your dispute. Others have avoided this problem in the past, but I for one have always had problems with this very problem. I have solved this problem by included a Xerox copy of my social security card and a utility bill with every dispute or inquiry.
