    Hi guys,

I am probably going to be laughed off the board for this one. My dad needs a credit card with a minimum limit of $25000. He had a card with MBNA that had a $25000 limit, but he closed it a couple months ago due to the high interest rate. Any suggestions or should he call MBNA to ask them to reopen the account? Thank you.

I think that you can tell your dad to reopen MBNA account and they will make hard inquiry on the credit report. This will make sure your dad doesn't have any bad credit in order to re-open the account.

Most cards will give you up to 90 days if you close an account.

No pre set spending limit......but we all know how that goes (GEORGE!).

Try Juniper maybe? I heard their limits are generous. Or if all else fails....call MBNA back. :-\
