I am trying to mail a dispute letter to both Experian and Equifax. How ever I don't see a contact address. Does anyone know the proper address to mail a letter to these companies so I am not run around in circles or send personal info to the wrong person? I am assuming that they will need my social security number, Name and address. Anything else? John
You need to have a report to dispute from. The information should have accompanied the report. You need the individual report from each bureau, not the trimerge, so that you know exactly how it is reporting. And each should have provided information on how to dispute.
The report that I have is over a year old and it is from "PRIVACY MATTERS" which gives all three agencies on one report. Will this work? would I still have to purchase a new report? I didn't want to give a credit card out just to get "two" but I will if necassary. If this will work I should be able to find the forms? If not I wll start from square one. one other question, do they have to delete these entries while the dispute is in action? I think I read that some where. Thanks to all for the information! John Ok I just understood , individual report from each agency. If this is necessary I will purchase new reports. thanks!
