Can anybody point out where i can get Internet Mastercard ?I mean the card where it won't be given to you. You can only spend it on the net . Thanks
CitiBank, which markets prime MasterCard products, has a new line called "Click Credit." It is internet only, and offers instant online approval; if you're approved, you will immediately receive your new account number and credit line to begin online transactions at your convenience.
I already had a Citibank MasterCard, and two months after I first used their online facility they offered me a preapproved Click Citi card. It was very easy, acceptance seemed automatic, and the credit limit turned out to be $3000, which is my highest credit limit yet. The physical card is just to remind you of your account number, and there is no magnetic strip, so you can't use the card at stores (or at ATM's, for the cash-starved masses out there.)
You don't need a magnetic strip to use a CC in a store. They use the numbers and expiration date off the card and enter it manually. They must have the 'internet card' coded specifically to allow non-internet purchases only ... ?
