I sent a request for validation to RMA 30+days ago. This is for an account c/o in 1997. They have this listed on Equifax as open 10/97 and last activity 10/97. Unable to locate customer. They nev er validated just sent me a bill. They have pulled hard inquiries every other month (so I don't know how they c an't locate me)and they pulled another hard one when they got request for validation. Didnt someone say they had a good letter to send them ?? please?
refusing to validate, pulling hard inquiries and reporting "unable to locate consumer"... your experience with RMA is not unique. Send them an estoppel. I tried to send a 2nd validation, rather than estoppel, and they still have not responded... it has been over 60 days.
You have them on a bunch of Violations Send Estoppel: if they don't reply by 15 days sue the pants off them !
