I am working on repairing my husbands credit now. He has between 4 and 8 negatives on each report and I am working on getting the major ones off now. The real problem is he only as one positive tradeline on each report- a car loan from 1994. He is approved for two cards now, one visa and one mc. I feel like he needs more than this... three positive tradelines still sounds pretty slim to me. Should he apply for more credit?
thought of something new-- maybe I can add him as an authorized user on some of my cards to raise his total number of positive tradelines. Just received a statement from Target which included a form for adding AUs. Does anyone know if Target Guest Card reports AUs?
