I don't see no need to close exsisting acc't. Just go to your local branch and get a rep to put a "stop payment on"on funds and add a "alert status" on your acc't with the name of company, to block funds.
Yes, but these scammers also try to come back under a different company name for a different amount of $$$
I used to work for the government. One of the consumer protection agencies that regulated this kind of stuff. Very rarely were we able to get any money back for consumers. At best, we shut them down. Then they moved and started the scam under a new name or from a different location. Forget suing. You will never find them. If they go to the trouble of scamming you, they know enough how to hide the money.
o.k. the only problems I see now are them trying to take money out again. I am going to close out my account I can't no earlier then Sept. 1 anyone have any clue on how fast these jerks will try and send money through again? I bank with National City and they charged me 26 to stop payment and in order to stop the ACH debit they they said another 26. will be charged, if this company puts it through as a check and it is an invalid check can they turn around and do a debit? Man this upsets me! We called e credit solutions and they said that they already put the check through ( according to the bank it has not cleared though) they couldn't do anymore with it so we could go though the refund process next wednesday and to call them back. So how fast should I be aware of their scams? Anything would help, you all have been saviors already!
