OK there is a detail that I need to address first, and that is that I have been trying to clean up my husband's and my credit reports, and my husband is now in Iraq for the next year. I don't know whether I can actually go through the suit against the CRAs with power of attorney? I have been trying to clear up items that were included in a ch7 discharged in 2/2004. I subscribed to PG after pulling myfico in January and disputing. I made a great deal of progress with TransUnion, and it *appeared* on PG that experian was on track too, just equifax was killing me and impossible to deal with. We want to buy a home, and I found the perfect house and am ready to make an offer on it, contacted a mortgage broker and told him what I thought was correct in that TU was good, Ex was worse but not horrible and Eq was my PITA that I can't seem to get to do anything. So then today I pull myfico and I'm devastated, Experian is as bad as equifax! When I disputed with them in Feb, they had some things that came back "remains" so I waited a little while and sent another dispute last week...then pulled fico today and what they have done is taken a LOT of the accounts I had disputed and changed the Status Date to 2/2004!!!! Put my score below 600!!! I believe this is re aging and altough it may not have been the wisest thing to do, as I said I am ready to write an offer on a home...like MONDAY...and found this there so I went to their online dispute site and blasted them on it putting dispute "other" and remark "this account has been illegally reaged and will be the subject of a law suit if it is not permanently deleted IMMEDIATELY" I know I should have written a letter and sent it but I'm just so mad right now! These accounts status were in 99, when I lost my job. So how bad did I just screw up?
Can someone respond please? Butch? I can write the letter and mail it CRRR tomorrow, but the problem is if they ask to call my husband can't call them from where he is. Is my next step to write an ITS letter addressing the reaging? Equifax seems to have done the same thing on at least 3 accounts (according to PG monitor alert). I write these to the CRAs or I write them to the OC? Any advice would be appreciated, and I will sue them, just want to try right now to get them gone for the mortgage app and then come after them after my stress level goes down and I can get with legal and find out about suing on behalf of my husband while he is overseas.

Dear Sir/Madam; This letter is to follow up on disputes submitted online by myself at your website (www.experian.com/disputes), as well as disputes filed via mail (copy enclosed). Please take notice that I am currently serving in Iraq and have an upcoming mortgage loan application which is very difficult to handle by itself from here without the added complications I am having with your reporting inaccurate information. I will require you to respond in writing to these disputes as well as document your investigation/verification practices because I know there is no way you are verifying these inaccurate accounts to be accurate. When I disputed inaccuracies in February, you updated many accounts to reflect the date of status to be February! I just want my report to be accurate and I have consulted with a legal advisor whom informed me that I can hand this matter over to an attorney to file lawsuits against your company for violations of my rights as a consumer to have an accurate file. At this point, I do not want to do that, but if you leave me no other option I will instruct my wife to invoke her power of attorney to follow up with an attorney.
