My brothers Target card is maxed out. What is the fastest method of payment and how soon can he expect the updated balance to show up on his CR's? He wants to apply for Citibank cards but I suggested he pay down his balance first. He has a great ratio on his other revolving account (owes $400/8,000) How much will it matter? Also, anyone have the number to call Target, I'd like to ask them as well. Thanks!
Re: need to reduce Target rati I always that they looked at your total credit balances versus your total available credit, not every single account. I may be wrong. roni
Re: need to reduce Target rati it can take 30-60 days for your payment to get onto your reports. Just wait. or dispute the account and it will negate the entire card history.
