This is not a repeat of my other posts. This is a different problem. I have an account with Bankone (previously First USA) that is over $13,000. It will be charged off this week and I cannot pay anything. They say it will be sent to collections or to an attorney this week. I have heard that they will not sue unless the collection agency is unable to collect. Is this true with an account this big? Does the size of the account make a difference? I had a good relationship with them for over fifteen years until everything fell apart for me. I tried the hardship program, but was unable to keep up with it. All my money goes to rent, utilities, food. Thanks for the help.
