UCB in toledo is messing with me. Instead of sending statements and a settlement letter they instead sent me this stupid letter.

The above referenced accounts were placed in collections on october 27, 2000 and june 16,2001 respectively and disclosure notices were mailed as required by FDCPA )1-95. These accounts were never in dispute and both were billed to your insurance carrier.
Several conversations over the years(all recently of course) have taken place reguarding this issue and to this day, you have yet to resolve this matter. On June 12, 2002 itemized statements were mailed to you.
Kindly review this informations then contact our office to discuss how this balance will be resolve. Your prompt attention to this matter is greated appreciated.
    Signed the idiot president.

I have never EVER received a disclosure notice not the itemized statement. Also, I sent a c/d letter and I think this violates it. I am filing suit tomorrow neo and maybe we can coordinate our attack together.

I am writing this as I laugh myself silly. I called the FTC to file a complaint on UCB. The lady did not know anything about the FCRA and the FDCPA and told me a CA only has to send a notice with 5 days that has the amount owed plus basic info like account # and address. She said they did not have to validate the bill at all. HUH??? I then said they violated my c/d order when they wrote to me asking that I call to resolve the debt and she said they could write anytime they want but not call unless it is to sue us. HUH??? I got the quotes right off their site. Ahh well, she took the complaint and UCB is going down tomorrow. One question just so I know: I sue the company but instead of the company address I use the registered agent's address to send the notice?

Do not talk to any flunkies at the FTC... They know about as much as the CA's...

When you sent validation and received the green cards back(CRRR) did you then dispute with CRA's... If you did at the account is not noted as disputed by consumer you have them on FDCPA violations...

If they sent you a letter asking payment on the accounts then thats another violation of the FDCPA..

Who sent you the latest letter??? was it signed by Sam Rickard?? hes a putz..

When i was going to sue i just filed the paperwork in my local court and sent directly to United Collection Bureau of Toledo on Southwyck BLvd.. is this the same place your getting your letters from???

Yep sam rickard signed the note after I sent the c/d. I had to wait one day because of a busy work schedule but tomorrow at noon the suit will be filed. They never noted it as disputed with experian and they only did with equifax because the lady at equifax called them. In fact, equifax just ruled in my favor and removed the entire tradeline so it is just on experian now. Here are the statutes I am sueing for although I am just going small claims which is only 3 grand here.
