Last night while playing with Quicken I noticed the $50.00 bonus when opening a Netbank account. I went to their website and applied for checking, money market, check card and platinum card accounts (Their interest rates are pretty good!). Today I had an inquiry on my Equifax report only from First USA (I am assuming Netbank's credit card is through them - Score of 711 with 2 negatives and one in dispute - all paid and more than 6 years old). Netbank's web site says that "Your NetBank account has been approved!" and that "You can expect to receive by U.S. Mail a Welcome Kit that contains important new account information". Are they talking of the bank account, credit card or all? Anybody has any experience with them? Thank you! Mark
NetBank is just great - I have been using them since they bought citifi, about a year or so. The billpay feature is also good. -Cliff
Thank you for your comments. Which accounts do you have with them? I was hoping to deposit some funds to their money market account and just use it for the good interest rate, but while I was there I just went ahead and applied for everything including their creait card. We will see what happens. Mark
Mark, I have a checking and an overdraft loc for $1000. They only pulled my EQ, I was in the mid to high 600's when approved for the LOC. I've been real happy with them. It's my primary checking acct, I pay everything thru their bill pay feature.
