Hi! I am new to this forum, please be easy on me I don't know a whole lot about credit reports. I have some negative accounts on my credit report that are from about five years ago. I just recently pulled my credit report and there are two accounts in which I notice the account numbers don't match what I have as the account numbers. We did indeed have two separate Bank of America accounts, but the acct. numbers were different. I can't figure out why the numbers would be different. Is this something I should dispute or leave alone? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to Creditnet! If you think the account numbers aren't yours, I would definitely dispute through the CRAs.

Do you dispute with each credit agency individually?

yes, you'll need to dispute with each of the different credit bureaus. they all accept online disputes now.
