Just got back from the Pontiac dealer, and pick up my brand spankin' new 2003 Grand Am!!! It feels good to walk in to a dealer and haggle over the price of a vehicle and not your credit. I saw ad on Sunday for a 36mo lease on an 2003 Grand Am @ $225 plus tax did some research went in Thursday night around 6:00, they called back by 7:30 APPROVED!!! Pick it up at 1:00 this afternoon, I didn't even have to show my FMC as closed/paid. I have about 9 more payments to go. I am like geek woman today. I am looking forward to the drive home tonight ;~)
Congratulations!!! While you were on the lot, didn't your inner child scream' GET A FIREBIRD' LOL.........
They had a Firebird right next to mine Grand Am so said to my salesperson.. Oh John really you shouldn't have. Back in the day, when I was 18, I owned a '84 Camaro Z-28, red with T-Tops. My inner adult now screams... insurance payments!!! Just got back from picking up my Escort. The DH drove the new car he still can't believe that I got it in less then 24 hours from the time I sat with the salesperson at the dealer. I didn't have time early to list all the important 411 on the lease. 36-mo lease thru GMAC Ad had $225 payment with tax payments just over $250. (Had to get a new plate) Report Pulled: TransUnion State: Michigan (Go Blue) 8 days Score: (I made a mistake when I posted them last week in the best/worst report thread, I transposed TU and EX my bad) TransUnion's score: 582 TU's Fico: 642 The funny thing is that I disputed some S/L cards and my paid C/O's on Equifax pumping my score to 701. I everything I read pointing to them pulling Equifax. So I got this lease based on my credit file. Cuz I didn't do anything to my TU file. I am more proud of that then I am of the car. Big fat thanks to everybody here.
