I just bought an 03 Expedition Eddie Bauer. I saved a lot of money by first going to Carsdirect.com and Autobytel.com. I did a lot of research. I did not use there services. However, I found out that by calling around and asking for the person that handles Internet sales you got mcuh better price quotes. At most dealerships, they use the Internet to move greater volume. And they have a set price. Most places I called said that through the Internet, it is just 1000.00 over invoice or 2% over invoice. And they are a different type of salesperson. For the particular car that I bought, local dealers that did not have an Internet dept wanted well over 40,000. I did not pay anywhere near what they wanted. Just a tip.
Well the dealership pulled credit. And it was with Experian and Efx. Ford Motor Credit did not have to pull anything.
