I have an AMEX Delta Skymiles Platinum card with a $4k credit line. I really don't want to pay the $135 Annual fee, and I am not using the accumulated miles like I thought I would. I know I can probably call and get the fee waived, but I don't want to do that every year. Currently, this is #1 of 2 cards I have (other one is Disney Visa). I would really hate to lose the CL of this one (Disney is only $2k) - it comes in really handy for car repairs and big(ger) ticket items. I'm a big fan of AMEX's customer service, and love the AMEX line. I'm torn though, between the Blue Cash and Chase's Stockback card. I really don't need more than 2 cards, but I would think about it if: a) It would help my utilization % b) No annual fee c) If AMEX wouldn't hit me with a hard to switch cards. Anyone have any thoughts/ideas? I pay the balances of these every month, so APR is not a factor. Last time I pulled my credit (5 months ago) my FICO was in the 720s. I may already have 2 hards on my system (in Feb/March, I was looking to refi my car, so probably hards with PeopleFirst and Wachovia). Any suggestions/ideas/flames would be appreciated. TIA. Shibuii
