I just got a little postcard that says
I says this account is "Gold" and "unsecured" and I have an activation number in a little box.

There is a little header at the top of the card that says "PNC-card activation center." They're trading on the PNC bank name!!

I think everyone should call and hassle them, heheh.

What was the other company that did this - sent the postcards - aren't they being investigated by somebody?

I received an email yesterday that was very similar from the same people I believe. I don't have it anymore to look at. Notice is doesn't say Visa, MC.

Yeah, I noticed. I am printing the mail fraud report form now. Misrepresenting products/services complaint.

That PNC at the top qualifies, I think. And they have a postal permit number.

Breeze just to amuse you and me both - and you too, Jeff, I just dialed the PRIME number, listened to the crap message, then when she(he) came on, I was going to tell them I was Dogman from Columbia House!

I was going to tell the person that the PRIME company had been pre-approved for 11 free CDSs -
but I needed to debit their active checking account for $50, postage and handling. What was their checking account number and were they over 18?

Anyway - no one answered in time so I hung up.
I thought it would have been good though - and still is a great response to a telemarketeer.

    howllllllllllll - dogman

I won a million dollars!!!" Susie, listen to this... puts Susie on the phone... etc etc etc.

sounds like an episode of "FATHER KNOWS BEST!"
I can see Robert Young answering the phone,
Jane Wyatt suddenly leaves the kitchen, ear rings and apron intact - where she is cooking! LOL! Bud and the other two girls giggle eagerly around the phone! One million dollars!!!!!!

Hope the pot roast doesn't burn!

PNC bank was very interested :)

I emailed them and they requested a copy. No reputable company wants to have some scam outfit trading on their name.

I got the EXACT same thing today. Since it didn't say Visa or MC, I trashed it. Sounded shady to me.
