New citi card arrived, anyone know to get a credit limit increase before activation for citi cards? I tried retension # but customer service said a hard inquiry must first be pulled before they can determine if an increase is possible. I remember reading some of the people who did bdd got increases before activation. If there is a department I should call, please advise. Thanks.
Thanks Willgator, but I tried and was told there was no new accounts department. I know Amex has a new accounts department, did the csr just lie to me?
