    Southern Florida? It seems that place is the king of scams.

    Why don't you get the following issues taken care of... Until then, nice try.

    1- Each time I click the refresh button, the # of visitors goes up. Dude, get a CGI script to track the # of unique visitors to your site. This is so tacky.

    2- Why is the email contact BlueKapLLC@aol.com instead of something like info@BlueKapLLC.com? It's worth the small price if you're a legit business.

    3- "If you do not see any positive results or an increase in your scores, then all monthly fees will be refunded." Oh really? Like the score wouldn't improve at least 1 point without lifting a finger?

    4- Your FAQ section mentions nothing of the proprietor(s) or experience.

    5- $75 initial fee & $45/month thereafter for you to do what I can do for myself in less time. And what, pray tell, can I learn about the credit industry from your newsletter that I can't find out elsewhere for free?!

    3 days to cancel and it MUST be done via CRRR, and even if you DO cancel the membership fee isn't refunded?
    Oh brother....

    Thank you for the feedback it is much appreciated.

    Like I said we are always looking to improve.

    Our company is not a scam and it is of course easier for those on the other side of the fence to judge but that is undertandable.

    Although many of you have done excellent jobs in repairing your own credit and may very well have the time to fight with the CRAS and CAs but this is where our firm comes into play, we offer targeted credit consulting to those who don't have the time to do it themselves.

    Also our firm has experienced attorneys on call to help advised members as to how to handle legal claims against CRAs and CAs.

    We know that Credit Repair firms have a bad rep! That is why we are on mission change that thinking and stop the misinformation about credit problems.

    In repsonse to KHM about the 3 day cancellation, of course if you decide to cancel within that time you will be refunded your entire money, it is only after the three day period, the membership fee is non-refundable.

    Anymore comments are very welcomed

    Thank you!

    You may not be a scam, but I just thought it was ironic that it was setup in South FL.

    You have to cancel by certified mail within 3 days. Even if I mailed it out certified on the 1st day, being that I'm in Az., you wouldn't get it for more than 3 days. Or do you go by the postmarked date?

    I don't understand, how many credit consulting firms are there in South Florida?

    We are customer driven and have had no complaints from our members.

    You say:
    Our company is a credit consulting firm that directly addresses credit problems for individuals and small businesses by providing valuable legal solutions in tackling your credit and financial concerns. We provide our clients with extensive individual and confidential attention by our case managers, who will work directly with you in finding the best credit solutions to your financial concerns.

    Question...There seems to be some circular logic here. Are you providing legal solutions to credit and financial concerns? Or providing credit solutions to financial concerns?

    I ask because your description of services doesn't address financial issues beyond credit. My attorney's firm has 30 years of experience, & in my designing their website, he was very picky about the choice of words.

    What qualifies your staff to do this? Any trade references? Are the attorneys on staff or do you have a referral deal going on?

    3 days is NOT enough time.

    What exactly are unlimited e-mails, credit restoration service, ekapnewsletter? You state what they are are but you don't have examples or testimonials or references. Your website is far to vague BlueKap... All or your information couldn've been derived from reading this message board's archives for a night. Credit score analysis: When you get your score from FICO, they give you an analysis. Credit Analysis: they give you that too.

    What in the world can you give somone that they can't get on the internet or this message board for FREE!!!

    If you really want to be successful in this business, you need to showcase and emphasize why and how your business can really help. Given the information that you have provided on your website, I wouldn't give you a dime and I pity the poor soul who does.

    BlueKap1,

    One key point to advertising effectively is to understand who your customers are. I applaud your desire to want to help people with credit problems. Afterall, over 78 million people have some sort of credit-related issue.

    With that said, consider the group you've just solicited: hard-core do-it-yourselfers' who believe in helping each other achieve their credit goals.

    If your methods are proven, to reach this group, you'll need to offer something that no one else has. I suggest a free trial. If the client's reports do not improve after one cycle, they can cancel without penalty.

    However, before you can get to that point, you have to establish your clients' trust. Do that with testimonials, before and after scans of bureaus, scan some feedback letters, or even post what you've done on your own (if you were your first client).

    Good luck with your venture and I hope you're a really good listener.

    As the Executive Director of the Web Access Community Karma Organization (W.A.C.K.O.), it is my rare privilege to bestow upon Bluekap the Silliest Post of the Year Award for Fiscal Year 2001-2002.

    Bluekap has roundly earned this infamous honor for several well-deserved reasons:

    1) For severely misjudging a self-help audience as being candidates for a monthly subscription to a heretofore unknown entity;

    2) For publishing what must be one of the most banal websites ever published (apparently from a $39 do-it-yourself kit right out of the box);

    3) For violating the Creditnet Terms of Service;

    4) For ballsy self-promotion without even offering one shred of free advice (which certainly sets him apart from Creditwork, Creditwrench, Creditinfocenter, and other occasional commercial interests who have visited this board);

    5) For believing that if he builds it, we will come;

    6) For terrible grammar;

    and, finally

    7) For overall bad taste.

    It isn't often we come across such a deserving honoree.

    Congratulations, Bluekap!

    Doc
