I am relatively new to this board. I read a lot, post a little. However, reading this particular post, I am recalling another post that ng emailed me recently about. Listen closely LHK, this comments for you (a little sarcasm from others posts) . . . all of you "regulars" will enjoy this. . . I can't help but laugh while I'm thinking about it. You know, these are the times when you wish you were at a sports bar, happy hour, having some cocktails with you guys, unwinding and having a belly ache over this story!

Do a search and find : LATWANNA where she posted "They killed my puppy" 5-30-2000. After reading, come back and tell me you didn't laugh your little tails off again, I double dog dare you!!!

    First of all!

BlueKap would like to extend a letter of apology to the pbm, we did not intentionally try to violate the creditnet terms of agreement. We will not engage in such conduct again.

We admittedly were hasty to post our new website and we have since updated our site. Unfortunately, due to server problems and software problems, our final product was obscured and incoherent and we apologize for an inconvenience to board members.

Unfortunately, these errors have left our company open to much ridicule on this board and you are all rightfully so entitled to your opinions.

Some of your comments have been taken under advisement and we are working hard to completely satisfy our clients.

    To CardKid:

We want to thank you for your advice it is much appreciated since you are the only one on this board who has submitted constructive criticism and was not too quick to judge. We appreciate open minds. We thank you again.

You will not see any more blatant self-promotion out of respect to the board from BlueKap Consulting.

We are willing to offer Creditnet members one 6 month free trial membership to make up for our bad manners.

Just simply mention how you heard about our firm and we will process your request.

Again we apologize to all and thank you for your time!

I would think twice before giving my credit history (identification, Social Security Number, etc.) to a previously untested entity like this, irresective of the price.

not to mention that these guys aren't doing anything differen't than what we creditnetters are doing every day. Junum has hurt people rather than help them at times. And they are an "established" business. I wouldn't want to be subject to growing pains of a new one. I agree with Doc, proceed with caution.

For those doing due diligence before embracing any company, here is the publicly available information regarding the domain:

    http://www.netsol.com/cgi-bin/whois...g.com&STRING2.x=27&STRING2.y=14&SearchType=do

It appears that Lillia Cuffy registered the domain name just ten days ago. Contrast this with a writing style that disclaims the newness ("have had no complaints from our members," etc.).

On the other hand, a bit more investigation did uncover a bit of information that would actually lend credence to this person's existence and involvement with this type of work. Here's what I discovered from my preliminary sleuthing:

LexisNexis (a division of Lexis Publishing, a company which serves the legal field) confirms that Lillia Cuffy is a real person. Moreover, Lillia Cuffy has recently studied law at Nova Southeastern University. Finally, Lillia Cuffy apparently knows enough about analyzing and summarizing legal cases that she was among the winners of a contest targeted toward law students vis-a-vis this skill set.
    Source:
    http://lawschool.lexis.com/contests/casesummaries/bb.htm

I subsequently just telephoned Nova Southeastern University (http://www.nova.edu) and confirmed that Lilliana Cuffy did indeed graduate from their law school (Juris Doctor) on July 31, 2001.

These are very encouraging signs. Lawyers with an interest in credit-related matters should be welcomed and embraced here. My marketing suggestion for Ms. Cuffy would be simply this: MORE information, not less, builds credibility. Potential clients will undoubtedly want to know WHO you are, what your EXPERIENCE actually is, what is your BACKGROUND that qualifies you for this work, etc.

I'm very happy to be able to provide positive results related to my quick investigation. :)

I agree "whole-heartedly" with Doc. Although, as mentioned earlier, this site is primarily made up of the "do-it-yourselfers", I can name a few SOURCES that would be great to have here to refer to. It would be nice to have a company like this around. Although you might not pick up a lot of people willing to "pay" for these services here, I believe that you would be doing yourself a favor, to stick around, listen to, and respond to some of the rhetoric that happens here. In my opinion, I believe that this would be a good source for experience for your "new" company and would help out your clients, as well. It is always better to get criticized from non-paying clients that to get a "bad reputation" from lack of experience before you even get your company off of the ground. Good luck in your endeavor, and I hope that we can all help each other out.

If you really CAN'T do it yourself...maybe turn to an established company.
