When you order a new report, is it really new?
does credit scoring only change 1x a month now?

do disputes inflate your score temporarily?
    thanks !!

If you order a new report , then the score will be update for that particular report if something has changed. Experian reports don't inflate when you dispute.

New Experian question - e-mail rcvd

I contacted EX about the "Plus Score" never changing - here is what they replied with:

"Thank you, for contacting CreditExpert Customer Service.

We apologize for any confusion regarding changes to our new scoring format. Since credit scores do not typically change very drastically day-to-day, your credit score is tracked monthly so you can follow the status of your credit rating from month-to-month

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

We have recently upgraded our website to bring you the best tools and resources you need to take charge of your credit, as well as to make your experience cleaner, faster, and more easy-to-use. We assure you, though, that none of your services have been reduced.

Please note as well that you will need to request for a new copy of your report in order to view your updated report and score from Experian. By allowing you to decide when you want to pull anew report, the new system is able to archive your past report for 30 days should you need to reference any updates or changes that your tracking. With the old system, your report was only available for online view during that session. Please check your daily scores when you pull up your report to see the changes on your PLUS Score.

If we can be of further assistance. Please feel free to contact us.

    Sincerely,

    Leo S.
    CreditExpert Team"

This sounds like a crock of crap to me!

New Experian question - e-mail rcvd

Experian's "NEW" Credit Manager is terrible.

I've had the service for almost 2 years and the old application was better. You could see the effects day to day chanes have had on your score and you could track your credit utilization history.

The new application does not offer this no matter what they say ... and thier support is awfull as well. When the new application was rolled out I called costomer support and got some one with limited English skills ... I told them that I no longer could track my credit utilization and they replied that I could. Sooooo ... I asked them to step me through it ... they had to put me on hold for 20 minutes and them come back and say that feature is no longer avaialble.

I check my credit daily with Experian and with Privacyguard. I can see tradlines change from both applications and my Experian score change when calculated in Privacyquard but my score has not moved at all for almost 30 days in Credit Manager even though I've had a number of trade line balances reduced.
