New Hard Inquiry. Help!

    ontrack,

    When I called the number listed on the report (only TU) they had no information about the account only the outstanding balance of $7432, they didn't know what the account was for but gave me another number to contact. I contacted that number and it was just an answering machine with no identifying information of the person I was calling. So I called NCO back and they gave me the number for their corp office. This is where I spoke to the CSR who was very nice and told me that they had no current accounts for me. I asked her if there were any closed accounts, thats when she told me about the student loan but it was closed. She also told me that she didn't list any current pulls and gave me the fax number for NCO. Told me what to write and if they didn't answer to call again and insist that some contact me and give me a letter so they could remove that pull because they didn't have any permission to do it.

    I did. I faxed and mailed a letter to NCO before I left work.
