Staples pulls no credit? I'd better check it out.

There are no Staples in our area, but I'm sure I could use it online...

As a matter of fact, this stapler here at work is driving me crazy...LOL

Can I buy a stapler online from Staples?

LOL, Nestea. You're always helpful. :)

I didn't do justice to your earlier question. I believe that if an application requires no SS number, then there is neither a personal guarantee nor a personal credit inquiry. Am I right?

The Shell Fleet Card requires no SS number, so I guess there's no personal guarantee and no personal credit inquiry.

P.S. In May 2004, all the Texaco cards will be converted to Shell cards.

You're welcome. I think gas and retail cards are great for building credit, including business credit.

(But not for maximizing FICO scores, if anyone has that as an immediate goal...)

The Shell Fleet Card is also available at

    www.theassociates.com

but strangely enough under personal cards, not business cards.

I have the Staples business credit. They don't require a PG and don't pull personal credit.

They will check to make sure you are a legit business. They normally start you of with a 750 CL if you don't have any business credit.

They also send a lot of coupons for $ 10-20 off on purchases.

Can you give me more info on the Staples card? I have a new small business, and a Staples card would be beneficial to my business.

Might I get approved, even without previous business credit?

I appreciate any info, as I am new to owning a business.

The Staples card is probably the easiest card to get for new businesses. It's my first card without any business credit.

You'll get a $750 limit to start and you don't have to use your personal credit.

They might check to see if your phone number is listed in 411. Not sure if they do, but most creditors will. Having a home based business is OK too.

If you get approved you'll get some good coupons too.

    Good luck.
