I am looking for a new job after having been self-employed for a number of years. I'm finishing a degree, but I'm concerned that I will be "found" and my wages will be garnished (judgment). My question: How would they find me? Am I "findable" as soon as I start a job? How long do I have before they get to my employer? I just want to have enough time to make enough money to pay it off before it gets to that point. Thanks
