Hello everyone. Lbrown - a special hello. Today I have received a bill from a utility company from the state I formerly lived in almost a year ago. It still has my old address and I am not even sure how it made its way here. When I was moving, I asked for a final payment amount so I could pay. I truly don't remember if I received it or not, or even if I paid it. Many things have gone on since, so my memory is pretty blotched. Anyways, the bill is for over $2,000.00, which I cannot believe. How do I handle this situation? Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.
Is it from the utility company, or from a CA? Is it a bill, or actually a statement showing usage, and your last payment?
