   Four medical collections just appeared on my report in October for dates of service in 1997 - all are out of the SOL in Ohio.
   
   Question is - is the CA within his legal rights to suddenly report these collections with no hope of legally collecting them?

   The SOL on collecting has nothing to do with the SOL on reporting. He can report the debts and they can stay on your credit report up to 7 years from when they first went delinquent.
   
   That said, I'd fight tooth and nail and make him verify them every single month.
