    Someday, when they put all the resources on one page.........LOL.......it won't be such a hit or miss proposition finding stuff.

    ===================
    Won't this make it easier for Ca & CRA To validate?

    Thanks for the link, Breeze. Nothing on there for IL BK court. The site I used previously to check BK info now charges per page for the documentation. Could this be good for those in IL?

    Try PACER or RACER systems for things not listed here.

    As far as making it easier to validate - it is already easy to validate. Public records have got to be the easiest of all.

    You call up the clerk of any court and give them a case number and in about 30 seconds they'll tell you the basics of the case. Give SSN - same deal. If you want details, you go to court and pull the paper file.

    This system is not the one they use, this is a pilot program available to the public for free - for now anyway.

    Incidentally, I got this by signing up for a newsletter for collection agents from one of the collections websites. Know your enemy, LOL.

    Thanks Breeze, but will the CRA's pay to verify a BK? Funny the only CRA that shows assets and liabilities is Experian. TU and Equifax show assets and liabilities as zero. On the IL website, they do not list a dollar amount for liabilities and I think just have a "yes/no" for assets. I guess I can dispute my BK this way because I can prove assets and liabilities. Just a thought for a loophole for a future dispute.

    The CRA's don't use these sources. They use their own.

    But I dn't think they verify them most of the time.
