I see a lot of people saying to dispute your inquires. Everytime I have tried, the CRA say that you have to talk to the people who pulled your report. We "do not delete inquires" Can anyone provide more information
I believe that's incorrect. They must delete any info on your report that is incorrect. So, I guess the question is, what do you do when they send you something like that letter? Anyone? It seems like people have better luck with some than others. The EQF online techinique sounds promising. I disputed two new ones (both '02) on my EXP report and they deleted them.
How do you delete them on experian? I looked all over my report online, and couldn't find a spot to put in the disputes!
I am trying to understand something. Every credit report I have gotten lists soft and hard inquires and they say that the soft ones are never views by creditors and the score is not affected as well. Are you guys actually having to remove hard inquires that you have no knowledge of?
You used to be able to dispute online with Experian, now they took away the option. If you call now, you will receive the customary "You must dispute with the creditor or mail the dispute to us". Transunion, same thing, you must dispute with the creditor. Equifax is the only one that I have actually had success with (disputed at the end of July, and still waiting for them to fall off) recently.
Exactly what is this dispute with the Creditor crap. I heard the same thing only in the phrase "we do not investigate inquiries."
