I got a new set of TU results today. They deleted my MBNA charge-off. That means I am down to two negatives on TU -- a paid tax lien and my Discover account showing late payments from 10-2000.

Also, both of my new Citibank accounts have started reporting. So far TU is the only CRA reporting them.

My score isn't too hot with all of the new accounts and inquiries -- only 611. But now it can only go up! 19 positives and two negatives!

on what basis did you dispute the MBNA. And how many previous attempts?

I just disputed as not mine. For about the third time. They've verified each time until now for TU and they verified this month already for Experian and Equifax.

I think if I've learned anything after this last round of very successful disputes with TU it's that you don't need an idea, you just need persistence.

The three biggest negatives left on my reports are an MBNA chargeoff, a repo from Ford Motor Credit and a state tax lien for $6,500. This last round of disputes all of these were deleted from TU. They've all verified in the past to TU and they all verified in this round to Experian and Equifax.

Well, I either need an idea or I need some patience.....Anybody tried the concurrent validation approach with MBNA?
