I just saw this on a credit report DH received a couple of days ago: "Please use black or blue ink only" "In an effort to service our consumers more efficiently we are using imaging technology as a part of addressing your written concern. To assist us as we strive for efficiency. Please take care to submit your disputes on white paper only. Ok everybody, break out your red ink pens and blue paper and make them hand enter your disputes!!!!!!!
Ok everybody, break out your red ink pens and blue paper and make them hand enter your disputes!!!!!!! jlynn ============ How about red pens pink paper
Jlynn, LB I see a smilie but were you serious or joking? I just sent for some free lovely sample stationary. It is a shade of warm golden rod yellow paper with red ink for the address and another was a fabulous shade of official blue with black ink. Either I will go the stylish route or I could also use my favorite legal yellow lined paper. Or again were you just joking? Jokes on me??? Should I keep the letters standard on black and white? I think I read somewhere that they should be typed instead of handwritten. Correct me if wrong. I have read letters that can be copied but not much else on what type of paper and ink except this thread. I called Mailboxes etc, to see how much I should set aside for CRRRs and I was quoted $8.10 plus postage. He said to figure about $8.95. So I am looking at $153 total for starters. Anyone know how much to send a letter CRRR at the regular post office? I am thinking I might be better off registering for stamps.com since getting to the post office is very difficult with the desert sun and being on foot. These postage prices will likely add up since I want to do almost everything in writing. Stamps.com expect a monthly fee plus normal post office postage. Then it says I can drop it off in any mailbox pick up. Anyone use the online Stamps.com for CRRR? Or, any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Gretchen
The smiley was because we loooove new ways to aggravate CSC! IMHO, there is some validity in not allowing for scanning of disputes. Make them hand enter and let the clock tick down! Mailboxes etc is screwing you. They mark up EVERYTHING. Go to the post office. I pay $4.42. Willgator must have a girlfriend there ~
Hey Jodi, I have a lead on pens that use invisible ink. The ink is ok for about a month but then, it disappears. Buwahahahahaha
Jlynn, I see your point. And yours too Butch! LOL I think there may be some validity in not sticking out like a sore thumb too. Perhaps better to be lost in the shuffle. I love these little locater maps online that find anything closest to your zip code. My post office is a deadly 2 miles away. When the tough get going, the going gets $2.50 by wagon brings it up to $6.92 plus time energy lost due to desert heat and sunstroke. I am going to try getting CRRR for $4.42 plus the convienence of downloading them for $4.95 a month charge at www.stamps.com. Free postage. free 29 day trial, free scale for power plan users. Might wind up being useful for other things too. "Number of stamps printed by www.stamps.com customers:187,810,600" Gretch
