Hello all! I am new to this and needing some advice! I got my credit report today and it was not as bad as I thought it would be, but still bad. First off, I have 5 collection accts that have been paid, is there anything I can do to have these removed? Secondly, I have a credit card showing up as lost/stolen from '99, is that something that is hurting me and need to have removed? There's no info being reported, just lost/stolen. And lastly, I have 2 collection accts for small amounts I would rather just pay. I've read somewhere that you can negotiate in the terms of payment to have the item removed from your credit at payment. Is this true and are most collection agencies willing to do this? I'd even be willing to pay the whole amount bc it's so small. Thanks in advance for the help!
