Hello all! I am new here and just getting started on the road to credit repair. I am tired of having lousy credit and I have decided to make a life change and get it fixed once and for all!

Things have gone down hill the past few years. I used to have a $120k a year job but 5 years ago got laid off and have only just got back into the 80's a year ago. It has been a rough ride. We also lost medical insurance for a while and had many medical bills pile up. I have a $20k plus Bank of America credit card that is in collections and a bunch of other collections. We were living just at our means 5 years ago and things really went south when I lost my job.

The good news is that I was able to get out of my home loans through sale of our properties. So no foreclosures. I also have no bankruptcies or civil cases. Just a BOA credit card in default and a bunch of medical bills.

I am committed to seeing this through no matter what the length of time required. I recognize it will take some time but I am sick and tired of being worried about credit. I want to get back on the plus side of 700 for my credit score.

I have read all of the info on this site and will use the search feature as much as possible but I imagine I will seek help from time to time. Lastly, I would like to thank all of the people here who respond to others questions! This site is awesome help. I already feel inspired!

    Thanks
