Firstly great board with tons of info. okay my situation. Filed bk7 and discharged in 11/97 with 11 creditors on report that say included in bk i guess those are there for seven years. i have capitol one charged off on 11/98 for 400.00, a first premier charged off 11/97 for 400.00 and a providian charged off 11/98 for 800.00. should i just not pay the above or try to reopen account if they will to get rid of all the neg lates. funny captiol one just gave me a gold card in 10/01 when i have a charge off with them in 98. i also have one cellular bill charged off in 97 for 500.00 one more question. i have a second mortgage that i paid off in 10/01 with alot of days past due anything i can do about that? lastly my first mortgage has me 120 days late but worked with me and i refinanced with them to get everything caught up anything i can do about the lates they reported. one more thing, i have 4 collection accounts for 206.00 outstanding what to do with them??? Just start doing disputes online & see what you can get rid of. You may be able to get the unpaid chargeoffs removed, but if not you can always try to settle them or pay them off for deletion. Read as much as you can here, you will learn a lot.
