Hello to all of you - I have been lurking for a while reading up as much as possible We are in the process of cleaning up our credit and I am facing the following issues and would be grateful if I could get some advice on how to proceed here are my details:

    1. acct with Lowes:
balance account = $0 I have documentation to attest to this.

eq reports account status as collection account LAST REPORTED DELINQUENCIES: 05/2003=R5,04/2003=R5,03/2003=R4 ACCOUNT PAID ACCOUNT TRANSFERRED OR SOLD

exp reports account status as pays as agreed TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER LENDER ACCOUNT TRANSFERED TO ANOTHER OFFICE

    How should I proceed?

    2. Midland Credit - according to CA this is an account with MCI that I did not open. I have sent them a validation letter, spoken with them on the phone which I know now is a no-no but told them this was not my account and I would like to see validation, they said the oc could not provide that however it is showing still on eq and exp

    3. Wachovia - personal loan installment
all three have status of late 30 days
account opened 10/2000 account closed/paid in full in 2003
eq no 24 month payment history
exp jan 02 - dec 03 all show no late payments in 24 month history however comments are REPORTED DELINQUENCIES: 11/2003=I ,09/2003=I
tu shows not reported on 24 month history from Nov 01 - Oct 03

    What should I do here?

    4. Pentagroup FI:

    What shold I do here?

    5. Unique ManagementCollection account - public libraries - balance $0, closed

    1. Dispute the tradeline through the credit reporting agencies. Follow up with a letter to GE Money Bank in El Paso to the attention of the FCRA Department wherein you "kindly" request the remove the tradeline. Typically, GEMB will do as such,

    2. Dispute MCM/Encore's tradeline through the credit reporting agencies. If they verify the accuracy of the tradeline, consult a consumer attorney if your request for validation was timely. If your request was not timely, consult a Texas consumer attorney (Dean Malone preferrably) insofar as Midland is incorporated, in part, in Texas and is bound under the Texas Financial Code, thereby, they must validate a request by a consumer regardless of whether it is timely by the FDCPA standards,

    3. Dispute late notations throught the credit reporting agencies and ask them to "update" the account. If verified, send Wachovia a goodwill communication requesting they remove the late payments as a matter of courtesy. If no movement, don't worry with it inasmuch these are not hurting you due to their age;

    and,

    4. & 5. Dispute the tradelines through the credit reporting agencies and request validation from the collection entities.
