OK, I read the FAQ, I subscribed to Credit Expert and now need to start taking the steps to clear my report up. My score is an anemic 557(although EQ reports 478) I am in the process of printing my report as I type. Does anyone have any suggestions as which they feel is better, disputing online? by mail? fax? Also, which should I dispute first? All hard inquiries are roughly a year or older. I have some collections, some charge offs and a couple public records(2 judgements and one very NASTY and I might add very recent Chapter 7) so recent that I won't have my discharge papers in my hand for about another week to ten days. Some of the creditors have "included in bankruptcy" but some still list the old stuff like "charge off" "unable to locate"(which makes no sense, been in the same house for over five years). Anyway, any advice would be helpful. ....and be easy on me....I'm a rookie but also a very fast learner...Thanks!
welcome. as far as disputing goes, CRRR makes the paper trail. But, the online dispute method is effective. It is a matter of preference. IMHO I think CRR is the best. Be careful the creditnet is addicting (LOL)
