This irritates me to no end. I'm sitting here catching up on posts with the news on the tv, and they are recommending CCCS for people with credit problems.

"They will help and they're free"
    What a load!

I can't believe that news reporters will just spout of whatever propaganda is handed to them with out any real research into the topic. Do they not know that CCCS will destroy your reports?

    Unbelievable....

I say this every time CCCS comes up...many people with CCCS can't get 100% SECURED CARDS OR A MORTGAGE 2 years POST CCCS!!!!

Not that BK is good...but people that BK can get 100% UNSECURED cards with good rates, and a decent rate mortgage...

The story was about Credit reports affecting auto insurance rates, but they had the balls to say you could add a statement of explanation to your CRs and that CCCS was actually something good!

Ever notice how your driving abilitily fluxates according your score ? The higher your score climbs more skilled you become the lower it drops the worse it gets.?

CCCS... bad, bad experience... anyone asks, I say don't touch them with a ten foot pole--even THAT is too close for comfort. I cannot STAND it when these PR people try to promote them as "consumer advocates"... total BS!!!! It is win, win- you lose...WIN- CCCS, WIN- CC, LOSE- consumer with rapidly declining credit score.

I did Genus for a couple of years and they didn't do me any harm. I had a couple of creditor list that this account is managed by cccs, but that was it. I have disputed it now and it is going bye-bye. I think that you have to be careful in what cccs agency that you use. They helped me out when I was in a jam, so I cannot knock them.

Since low scores cause bad drivers and high scores make good drivers some one ought to sue FARIE IKE and the CRAs for putting dangerous drivers on the road by creating bogus low scores based on false assumptions from inaccurate incomplete information falsely listed on credit reports.

Lets make the roads safer to travel by suing the CRAs and removing the low score dangerous drivers from the highways!!

IF PEOPLE HAVE NEVER HAD AN ACCIDENT OR TICKET WITH A F.I.C.O. SCORE OF 450...THEY BETTER HURRY UP AND GET SOME TICKETS AND HAVE A FENDER BENDER OR TWO!!!

I would feel better if I have dinged fenders or speeding tickets.

The insurance hike would then be justified.
