If anybody applies...DO IT ONLY WITH ONE YOU TRUST...read EVERY question together, and agree before typing answer... CONFIRM EVERY ANSWER. DON'T accept it if you get 18.99% after 3 months...UNLESS THAT WOULD BE YOUR LOWEST INTEREST RATE...741 F.I.C.O.+ DON'T DESERVE THAT HIGH OF A RATE FROM NEXT CARD...ESPECIALLY SINCE THEY ADVERTISE 9.99% FIXED!!! If I had her with me...she was asleep...(doesn't care anyway) as long as we never exceed 9.99% on any card.

Good for you and the wife in regard to the increase! I called Nextcard this week as my balance is now zero. This will be no surprise to you - LOL - but I asked for an apr. reduction from 15.99%(effective Aug 15th) and a limit increse. The rep said she had nothing to offer me. However, I can apply for a limit increase via a "hard inquiry". I said - No thanks. Jim
