Has anyone been successful at getting their NextCard Visa interest rate reduced? If so, did you ask over the phone or via email? Were you at a $0 balance or carrying a balance? It's my highest card at 24.99, but the first one to give me credit on my road to repair. I've only had it for about 4 months.
Yes for my wife...she had a 2 months + 1 day @ 9.99% then JACKED to 18.99%...put it in the SOCK DRAWER... Finally just got it reduced to 12.99% GOT RID OF THE $50.00/BT CHARGE (BUT REFUSED TO REFUND THE $100.00 ON ONES ALREADY DONE)... 12.99% IS STILL WAY HIGH!!! ASKED BY E-MAIL...TOOK MONTHS OF NOT USING THE CARD, AND MAYBE 5 E-MAILS...
Thanks George I thought I'd start via email, if that doesn't work, PFB, and then the phone. I just paid it off, so I'm going to start asking for them to lower it and not use it again until they do.
