FYI.... Worthknowing showed my nextcard account as closed so I went to TU's site and pulled my real TU report - Nextcard: Closed 5/2002. Have they breathed their last breath?
I wonder what's going on. I'm agitated because I have a $400 balance on the card and now it shows closed with a balance. Since they only have some 65 people left on the payroll, maybe I'll dispute it as PAID/CLOSED - $0 BALANCE.
Lizardking.... I'm not sure I want it to go away. It's a perfect tradeline just over a year old. I have just disputed it with EXP, hoping to get it to show closed/$0 balance. Are you sure they aren't responding to disputes? George: I saw that post but I didn't think they would close the account though.
Someone OTHER THAN ME WHO HAS TO WORK 12+ HOURS tomorrow...call F.D.I.C. VISA (aka NEXTCARD) and ask why your account is closed on TRANS UNION...and who bought our accounts... ACCORDING TO ANOTHER POST I DID THE NEWS WAS 05/31/2002 WAS GOING TO BE NEXTCARD'S last day...
