Re: Just talked to customer service.... I plan on using my Next Card to keep it active. Perhaps Next Card is closing accounts that have been inactive or are owned by people who have paid late. I hope I get to keep mine. I just get it last July.

Re: Just talked to customer service.... My Nexcard acct shows closed on TU but open on EX. Called Nextcard and they confirmed that my acct is still open. Maybe a TU problem?
Re: Just talked to customer service.... Not that this necessarily means anything about what the future may hold, but I just received and activated a renewal card. It seems to me that the easiest way for NextCard to begin to close out accounts would be to not renew the card. If they are sending out renewal cards, it seems that the Feds and NextCard are optimistic (reasonably or not) that a buyer for accounts will be found.
