I have followed with interest the continuing negative financial reports on Nextcard. I believe these reports are all accurate. Last week, I contacted Nextcard and they lowered my purchase apr. in simple terms to... 12.9% from 15.9% I opened my account 10 months ago. I never carry a balance anyway but it never hurts to ask for an apr. reduction. My hope is that some reputable large company will buy up Nextcard. Best regards, Jim
Still can't do a BT...wife's finally got reduced to 12.99% from 18.99% a month or so ago...(balance $0.00)... Mine still 9.99%...sending $900 + payments... Could BT it away IMMEDIATELY if necessary...
Hi GEORGE !! No BT for me either. Nextcard said that they are not doing them right now. I asked for 9.9% fixed with no BT fee to match my Cap One Platinum terms. I received the 12.9% for purchases. I did not even bother to read what my cash terms are as... I never borrow cash. Also, I have nothing much to BT. You and Lizard should keep us posted on Nextcard.
