I can't believe it! I sent an email, from the NextCard secure site asking them to lower my APR from 24.99. I told them they were my highest APR card and my next highest was my Target Visa at 12.9. I dropped the "George" sock drawer bomb on them, saying that I had been using the card quite a bit but would be forced to stick it in the sock drawer if they couldn't lower it. They lowered it to prime+2.99% with a 9.99% minimum on purchases and balance transfers. I'm shocked. I thought this puppy would be gathering dust in the drawer.

You will notice however that we have recently paid this account off with another. ( sorry just couldn't pass it up) This morning, I am looking at another credit card balance that holds a 9.9% permanent rate which is our highest rate and largest debt @12K. Could a BofA customer service representative please review our records and pass along any further BT offers that might be availabe to us? I've read on some credt card debt message boards that BofA has made some offers as low as 4.9% and or prime plus 0% We will be looking forward to hearing from you. Dear Mr. E, Thank you for your email. We do have a balance transfer promotion for your account at a prime for life rate. You will receive balance transfer checks in the mail within 7 to 10 days. We value your business and thank you for using Bank of America Online Banking. Should you have any further inquiries, please e-mail us again. Credit Card Online
Congrats, cherie! I told you so! Dang - I have another month before my current BT offer expires. Is it okay if I use your template? What BofA e-mail address did you use or was this PFB?
I used the Bank of America website and certainly use my letter as a templete if you wish. GOOD LUCK !
