I just applied for a nextcard. I was approved for a 700.00 limit. They said I have to send in payment to activate credit line. What kind of scam is this.
Its called a 100% secured card. I approved for one, but then decided it wasn't the effort. My card included a "classic" $0 security deposit upgrade, too. They wanted like 5 pieces of identification, i was like screw that. thanks to the advice of others here, i think i made the right choice. I'm just going to have to sit tight and wait for my 565 beacon to jump another 100 points
I think they just approved you for secured NextCard and I think they need you to send in security deposit to activate the account.
