do SEARCH on nexcard - thwere are LOTS of posts - they went belly up - some accts were closed some accts have received offers from MERRICK BANK some accts have gotten great FLEET Bank prime offers.... In my case, I closed mine and is shows "Closed at consumer request" on reports. MERRICK BANK said I would get a new card from then around OCT - if my acct was open and in good standing - we'll see - I DO NOT WANT MERRICK - shady dudes.... arrf - dogman
