I have been struggling to get approved for any type of credit card. Turned down by almost everyone in February I pretty much gave up. My most recent round with transunion came back yesterday with 5 deletions. 1 judgment 1 paid collection and 3 chargeoffs gone. That left me with only 1 paid chargeoff remaining. I immediately applied for Nextcard(they had turned me down on 2/16/01) and was approved with about 3 options. The best deal seemed to be the platinum w/ a 6500. limit. I had to balance transfer at least 3000. so i tansferred out of my two Providian accounts. Im still in shock.
