I just recieved my experian report in the mail and found something... A landlord from an apartment I moved out of in 1997 has a $953 account on my report!!! This landlord never notified me (and they had my new address).They also sent it off to a CA without notifying me!! When I moved out I had no rent due and there was no damage to the apartment so I have no clue why they say I owe them money. I want to send a validation letter but the credit report has no address listed for the collection agency... Can they report on my Credit Report without putting the address to write them on the report? Help please..
Thanks a lot.. I have been trying to clean up our credit for about 2 months and it is not easy!!! Trans Union has my hubbies score at 628 and only 2 bad accounts on it(the stuff i disputed has been removed) but experian has a ton of stuff i have disputed on it still.There is no way they could validate them.... ughhhhhhhh Sorry,just venting.....I hate CA's!!!!!!!
Re: No address given for CA....Help If you call the CRA they will have an address for the CA. You can also try a search on the web. Who is the CA? Someone here may already have the address.
