it has been 15 days and tu still hasnt sent me a proced. request on a ca acct that ex and eq both deleted. what should my next step be?
you know what? we are on the same boat! eq and exp deleted a collection account that i disputed as not mine but tu came back verified only 2 weeks after i disputed. i sent them a procedure request letter. i called them earlier today and asked them why i haven't heard back from them. the guy i talked to said they already sent me a letter and they are entitled to extra days for mailing the letter. but what's interesting is that they went ahead and started a new investigation of the account i disputed 3 days after they received my procedure request. i think they did not even investigate the first time. give them a couple of days and see if you get something in the mail by end of the week. let me know what happens 'coz we're in the same situation.
