You've posted twice and still haven't mentioned the name of the institution with which you've applied.

As I recall MBNA doesn't offer instant approval, and i hear they can't take up to 30 days to decide.

MBNA, as I recall, is one of those "old school" card companies that actually takes the time to look at a persons credit report.

Since having a person look at it, as opposed to letting a random number generator instantly decide your future, 30 days seems reasonable to me.

I HAVE ALSO BEEN DENIED CREDIT FOR THE FAKE REASON OF EXCESSIVE CREDIT LIMITS...(no such reason code exist at this time)

    You DENIED, who knows...

I was DENIED for accounts when people on this board with 100+ points LOWER were approved for the same exact account...

do you think i have a chance at wal mart with a 596.??

    Try it.

All you have to lose is an inquiry.

If approved you WON'T get the "TARGET LIMIT" ($200)...it will probably be $500-$800.

WAL*MART ONLY APPROVES LIMIT INCREASES ON PAYMENT HISTORY...(pay on time, ALL THE TIME, and you can get 2 or 3 increases a year)...you have to call for it...

Every so often they have a 0.00% offer...
