Re: Re: no credit check home loans info The lien is uncollectable at this point as it is 12 years old and beyond the SOL for the irs to collect.
Re: Re: no credit check home loans info Me smells some bull pucky.... You have a tax lien, which from all my research has said is second only to a home foreclosure in severity on CR scoring hits, that is unpaid for $59k. Yet, you state that your FICOs are mid-700s? I had an unpaid 6 year old $2k debt that was tanking my score into the low 600s for years. Huh? aiki
Re: Re: no credit check home loans info yes, I am too surprised w/ my scores. But there are what they are! Who knows.. But, that tax lien is indeed a kiss of death as it sends a red flag to any lender and therefore makes the high fico score meaningless.
Re: Re: no credit check home loans info Is there a mortgage loan program available for such a situation?
Re: Re: no credit check home loans info Is it showing on your credit report as a public record? If so, as I said unless you want to pay it you will need to get it removed. If it will affect title, the lender will make you pay it or have them go into second position. Have you discussed this with a tax attorney? How'd you get out of a 59K tax lien for 12 years...inquiring minds.
