So I have a subscription to EQ creditwatch. When I click on "See Your Fico Score", the window shuts down.

Is this happening to anyone else? My paranoia could use some reassurance that I'm not the only one....

    Try IE...
I have some problems with NETSCAPE sometimes...

You also may want to RESTART the computer...

Re-booted....cleared cookies.....ran Norton.... and still shutting down when I try to pull FICO.

Just got a new report today with updates, but no FICO.

Maybe, they have switched me over to four pulls a year????

I have had this problem SEVERAL times before. What operating system are you running on? I have several computers and I usually have that problem on my systems that have Windows 2000 running on it. I have yet to figure out why this happens, but when I do, I will definitely share.

You might want to install some Scumware removal utility to see if that helps your browser. You can get Spybot Search & Destroy for free from http://security.kolla.de/

More than likely, you're having an issue with java in IE.

Try going back to default settings.

I don't think there is a Mac version of it, but there are many PC versions of software like this.

Many web sites have you download little pieces of software considered spyware/scumware that send marketing information back to whomever created them. Some examples of these are Gator, Weatherbug, etc. There are also some cookies that you do not really want. Not all of these cause harm, but many could.

It is also an invasion of privacy.
